Dataset description

Malaysia's Consumer Price Index (CPI) is a monthly publication which presents statistics covering 12 main groups of goods and services. This is consistent with the classification according to the United Nations "Classification of Individual Consumption According to Purpose (COICOP)".

[Date] The date in YYYY-MM-DD format, with MM-DD set to -01-01
Category
[Categorical] 13 values either denoting headline CPI, or one of the 12 main COICOP categories.

[Float] Index with base 2010 = 100, showing the CPI value for Johor by category of consumption.
Kedah
[Float] Index with base 2010 = 100, showing the CPI value for Kedah by category of consumption.
Kelantan
