Annual primary energy supply in Malaysia, by energy commodity.
0 views·0 downloads
This data is compiled by the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) for the National Energy Balance, from data reported by energy producers, power utilities, oil and gas companies and government agencies. Primary energy supply is the energy available for use in Malaysia: domestic production plus imports, less exports, international bunkers and changes in stocks. Final energy consumption is the energy delivered to end users, after conversion (such as refining and power generation) and losses. All values are in kilotonnes of oil equivalent (ktoe).
Figures may be revised as the National Energy Balance is updated. Crude oil and petroleum products are available separately from 2005; before then, only their combined supply ('oil') is available. Supply of petroleum products is net of exports, and is negative in years when exports exceed imports. The total is the sum of oil, natural gas, coal and coke, and the renewables.
