Monthly average ex-vessel, wholesale and retail prices of fresh marine fish in Malaysia by species, in RM per kg.
0 views·0 downloads
Data on fish prices in Malaysia is collected by the Department of Fisheries (DOF) as part of its fisheries statistics, and published in the Annual Fisheries Statistics (Perangkaan Perikanan Tahunan). Prices are recorded at three levels of the supply chain: at landing (the ex-vessel price paid to fishermen when the catch is landed), at wholesale, and at retail. Each value is the average price for the species in the month, in RM per kilogram of fresh fish, for Malaysia as a whole.
Months in which no price was recorded for a species are not included. The list of species has changed over time; some species have been split into separate species or into size grades (large, medium, small), which are published as separate categories.
